flat accounting was created out of a need to be able to effortlessly split costs. Working it out by hand, especially when there are many people and ugly numbers, is a hassle and error prone.
Instead of creating a simple calculator to do this however, it was decided that a website could offer much more functionality and information without creating much extra work for the user.
While the site has been thouroughly tried and tested, it is still a work in progress so please, if you notice any quirks or bugs, send us an email.
While still only a beta version, all of the features and functionality that you'll need to start balancing are in place. New features and content will be released as they are developed. To keep up with the changes, check out the news page
For your peace of mind it should also be noted that the information collected from you during sign up and use of the program will be stored in our database purely for the purpose of this website. There are no circumstances under which this information might be released or passed to a third party.
